Dr Ralph Piotrowski is a Senior Fellow at Ecologic Institute. He specialises in questions pertaining to transition to sustainable lifestyles as well as environmental and behavioural psychology. In addition, he has a focus on dialogue- and transition processes.
Anneke von Raggamby coordinates Ecologic Institute Berlin’s activities on European integration. She leads research and advisory projects on European environmental governance including impact assessment and evaluation, transition processes and sustainable development as well as behavioural aspects of environmental policy.
Katharina Umpfenbach is a political scientist by training and also holds an MSc. in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford. At Ecologic Institute, she has worked extensively on policy evaluation, impact assessment and transition processes, mainly in the field climate and energy policy. Another focus of her research work is resource efficiency.
Susanne Langsdorf holds an MA in International Relations and a BA in political science and public law. At Ecologic Institute she is working on projects analysing transition processes on community and city level as well as on environmental and energy policies. Geographically her work focuses on Europe and China.
Julia Wittmayer is a researcher at Drift focusing on urban transition initiatives at neighbourhood and city level. She holds a Master degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology and her research interests include linking the ‘local’ to broader transition processes, the role of narratives and of (action) research in processes of transformative change.
Ines Omann is an ecological economist and the Scientific Leader of the group on quality of life at SERI. Her focal points of research are sustainability science, participation, integrated sustainability assessment, scenario development, social dimension and quality of life. Ines holds a PhD from University of Graz, Austria.
Georg Feiner is a researcher at the Sustainable Europe Research Institute (SERI), where he focuses on the social dimension of sustainability, participation and regional development. Georg holds a masters degree in Sociology and a degree in Development Studies from the University of Vienna.
Mirijam Mock joined SERI in 2011 as research assistant in the group “Quality of Life and Integrated Strategies”. She currently studies Development Studies and Sociology at the University of Vienna and her research interests focus on transition processes and social innovation in the field of sustainable development.
Felix Rauschmayer is a researcher at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research –UFZ. His work specializes in ecological economics, governance, multicriteria analysis, decision processes in nature protection, and sustainable development understood through needs and capabilities. Felix holds his doctorate from the University of Heidelberg.
